Rome has a dismembered beauty, wounded, dusty, but if you cross it with an attentive gaze and with the passion of the lover, you will find all the layers of the centuries, all the stories, all the beauties that it has lived: Rome was a magnificent rebellious girl, it was empress, whore, peasant, courtesan; he has received in his arms holy poets and travelers, saints and warriors, kings and wretches.

Here, in Rome you will find all the arts, all the beauties and all the miseries of the world.

In this series I wanted to dream of it as a son dreams of his mother, like the artists and wayfarers of the past, the year he could see. Its beauty continues to shine again, wonderful and unique, under the dust.

Roma ha una bellezza smembrata, ferita, polverosa, ma se la attraversi con lo sguardo attento e con la passione dell’amante,  ritroverai tutti gli strati dei secoli, tutte le bellezze che ha vissuto: Roma è stata una magnifica ragazza ribelle, è stata imperatrice, puttana, contadina, cortigiana; ha accolto tra le sue braccia santi poeti e viaggiatori, santi e guerrieri, re e miserabili.Qui, a Roma ritroverai tutte le arti, tutte le bellezze e tutte le miserie del mondo.In questa serie ho voluto sognarla come un figlio sogna la madre, come gli artisti e i viandanti del passato, l’anno potuta vedere.  La sua bellezza continua a splendere ancora, meravigliosa e unica, sotto la polvere.
